Why We Ride

Though Janey’s Ride means a day of camaraderie with fellow bikers and a chance to enjoy the freedom of the road, for those who work, volunteer and live at Immacolata Manor this ride means so much more. Support of Janey’s Ride is needed to guarantee that the programs at Immacolata Manor continue to provide personalized support to people with developmental disabilities. The supports and services provided by Immacolata Manor cost over $125 per day per resident. Proceeds received from Janey’s Ride help to make certain that each person served by Immacolata Manor will continue to receive the individualized, special support needed to develop to their fullest potential. To fulfill this objective, our goal is to raise $60,000.00 through corporate sponsorships, increased rider participation, in-kind donations, and rider generated pledges.

Before the ride starts take a minute to meet the wonderful residents of Immacolata Manor. They will be eating breakfast, visiting vendor booths, judging bikes in the Bike Show, passing out bottled water, and hosting a tour of their home at Empress House.

Be a Ride Sponsor!

Funding received from government sources barely covers the essentials.  One primary reason we are able to maintain the beautiful environment, almost 75 loving and competent staff, and all the life giving programs is because of very generous corporate sponsors and community supporters, who support Janey’s Ride with financial and in-kind donations. Sponsor Janey’s Ride and reap the benefits!
