Ed’s 8K Challenge

For groups - combine your total individual Over-The-Top Giving to take Ed’s 8K Challenge. Ed Hale has been a rock steady donor for years as a dependable Janey’s Ride participant, recruiter of bikers, and always top fundraiser – contributing enormously to the annual success of the Ride. Through the organization of a great Posse, Ed and his team rally the community through various venues to raise a record-breaking $20,000 in 2012 for Janey’s Ride.

The Challenge - all groups bringing in a combined total of $8,000 or more will earn a private Meet & Greet with Ed’s Posse. Place & Date TBD.

If all of this “donation” talk is just not for you…

That’s fine with us.  We hope that you will enjoy your ride, enjoy your time in the KC Northland, and return for many years to come.  Your participation in this event means a lot to us.  It also means a lot to the residents of Immacolata Manor, who look forward each year to seeing hundreds of bikes and bikers ascend on their home.  You help to make certain that each person served by Immacolata Manor will continue to receive the individualized, special support needed to develop to their fullest potential.  How great is that?

Volunteer At the Ride

Volunteers make a huge impact on the ride’s success. If you are interested in volunteering, check out our on-line volunteer sign-up, or contact Immacolata Manor’s Director or Development, Stacie Bratcher at sbratcher@imanor.org. or 816-781-4332 x226.

In 2012, 100′s volunteers gave of their time to make Janey’s Ride run smoothly, playing host to all the awesome riders, vendors, and sponsors.  Community volunteers, like Desperation Church, the City of Plattsburg and the Gladstone IOOF, made a huge impact on the ride’s success. We are so grateful to each of you for your gift of time and talents.  There is also a small but mighty group who dedicate an infinite amount of time and effort to the yearly planning and success of the ride. Many thanks to the Janey’s Ride Committee: Carol Barker, Bill Dunfee, Dennis Barker, Jeff Heishman, Jeff Knights, Victoria Dunfee, Laurie Knights, Ryan Hicks, Duncan Barnett, and Donna Hicks.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for making Janey’s Ride the “most organized” ride in the Northland!
