What You Can Do

(2012 Updates To Come)

Be a $100 Wonder

Raise $100 and become eligible to win a new ATV! For each $100 donated, riders will receive a super ticket to win a Kawasaki Bayou 250 (2 wheel drive) ATV (retail value $4,500.00). The drawing will be held at Stables Grill on Sunday, June 26 at 2:30pm. (Need not be present to win. Must be 18 or older to enter. Winner is responsible for applicable sales tax.) Thanks to Liberty Cycle Center for donating the new ATV to Janey’s Ride!

$100 Wonders will also receive an exclusive Janey’s Ride cooling bandana. Be the envy of the ride as you stay cool and look cool with this cooling neck wrap.

Be an Honorary Posse Member!

Riders who raise $1,000 or more will be named Honorary Posse Members (HPM) for the day. A $1,000 donation provides one week of community living for an adult with I/DD. In addition to earning all of the $100 Wonder award incentives, Honorary Posse Members enjoy a FREE breakfast before the ride and have the opportunity to tour a Manor group home and meet the residents who live there. HPM’s also have the option to ride “up front” from Plattsburg to Kearney and will have privileged parking at Stables Grill.

In addition to a safe 70 mile group ride, complimentary lunch, entertainment, riders packet, vendors and more, you can earn the chance to win great prizes when you raise money through Ed’s Posse Challenge.

Volunteer At the Ride

Volunteers make a huge impact on the ride’s success. If you are interested in volunteering, visit www.SignUpGenius.com/go/janeys, or contact Immacolata Manor’s Director or Development, Stacie Bratcher at sbratcher@imanor.org. or 816-781-4332 x226.

In 2011, 100+ volunteers gave of their time to make Janey’s Ride run smoothly, playing host to all the awesome riders, endors, and sponsors.  Community volunteers, like Desperation Church, the City of Plattsburg and the Gladstone IOOF, made a huge impact on the ride’s success. We are so grateful to each of you for your gift of time and talents.  There is also a small but mighty group who dedicate an infinite amount of time and effort to the yearly planning and success of the ride. Many thanks to the Janey’s Ride Committee: Carol Barker, Bill Dunfee, Dennis Barker, Jeff Heishman, Jeff Knights, Victoria Dunfee, Laurie Knights, Ryan Hicks, Duncan Barnett, Donna Hicks and Brett Cason.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for making Janey’s Ride the “most organized” ride in the Northland!
